How to Enrol

Selecting St Canice's Catholic Primary, will give your child the best opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially through partnership in Catholic education.

St Canice's is now accepting enrolments for children eligible to commence Kindergarten next year.

Enrolment enquiries are also welcome for primary school aged children seeking enrolment during the school year.

Step 1:

Step 2:
Review the enrolment instructions

Before completing the Enrolment Application, read the Enrolment Instructions and Checklist for relevant supporting documents required in the Enrolment Application Form.

Step 3:
Enrolment Application

The Enrolment Application consists of several sections which allows the school to best identify your child’s requirements and needs. Please complete and submit the following:

Enrolment Application Form (Part A) and
Consent Form (Part B).

The following sections should be completed if applicable.
Overseas and Exchange Students Form (Form C) and/or
Contact Information Form for Parent/Carers (Form D) 

Enrolment packages containing the Enrolment Instructions, Checklist and Forms are also available to collect from our school office.

The completed Enrolment Application, together with all requested supporting documentation, must be submitted in person to our school office.

Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications and note that submitting an application does not guarantee automatic placement. 


Step 4:
Enrolment Interview 
All students seeking enrolment at St Canice’s Catholic Primary are required to attend an interview. Once the Enrolment Application has been submitted, our Enrolment Officer will contact you to schedule an interview. The enrolling student and at least one parent/carer are required to attend the interview.


Step 5:
Enrolment Acceptance 
We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Form and pay the $100 non-refundable Enrolment Deposit by the requested date to secure your position. This deposit contributes towards your first term school-based fees.

The Bishop Manning Scholarship Fund provides full or part scholarships to assist families in financial need who desire a Catholic education for their children, but for whom the cost is out of reach. Normal school enrolment criteria apply. Contact your local Catholic school to learn more or visit the Bishop Manning Scholarship Fund.
